I’m James, The Upcyclist, building with recycled materials is what I do.

For me building with recycled materials comes down to one main objective, consuming less resources.  The more that we reuse and recycle the resources we already have, the less natural resources we need to extract, which works out better for the environment.

As “The Upcyclist” I use recycled materials in a number of creative ways:

building tiny houses with as much recycled content as possible, working on bespoke building projects using recycled items collected by clients or myself, recycled timber furniture, and upcycling, reinventing and repairing anything that catches my eye into “new again” useful items.
